Fire District 18

Our department serves the residents and guests of Kidder Township, located in the northern portion of Carbon County, Pennsylvania, as well as the surrounding areas. We are a 100% volunteer department and have been providing fire protection and rescue services since 1948. We also respond to medical calls, in conjunction with the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad Ambulance, in our primary coverage area as well as surrounding areas if requested. We are dispatched simultaneously, by the Carbon County Communications Center, with two other companies within the township: District 16-Albrightsville Volunteer Fire Company and District 17-Lake Harmony Fire Department.

Our station is located on State Route 534, near the west entrance of Hickory Run State Park in the Lehigh Tannery section of the township.

Feel free to take a look around the site and learn a little about the volunteers that protect the area.

Please sign our guestbook!!
